Never Black Shawl

The idea for this shawl came from yarn used which is all shades of dark except black and reminded me of a line in the Owl that was Afraid of the Dark.

The shawl starts from a central motif and is worked from this centre out in each direction. The idea is of a central star exploding outwards like a supernova to give a beautiful symmetrical lace scarf.
