Circles within circles, this semi circular shawl takes its inspiration from the beautiful colourway of the yarn and the clever construction method (pi expansion) that allows for bold patterning.Size
1x 100g hank of Sweet Clement Darling (4ply, 50% Superwash merino/50% Silk, 100g/400m) in Crimson
16 sts and 8 rows in half trebles to 10cm/4in using 4mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension) after blocking. (row tension is the more important measure)
Basic stitches, cluster stitch
Worked from the centre out using the pi expansion principal.
This pattern is charted and written using standard UK crochet terminology (with US conversions given in the abbreviations)
