Transposition Shawl
The name of this centre out triangular shawl comes from music, raising or lowering the scales but keeping the intervals the same. Likewise the stitches subtly change from section to section, opening out a little more with each change to become lacier towards the edge.

You can easily add more or fewer repeats of any of the scale patterns to make a smaller or larger shawl.
Materials
1x 100g hank of Easy Knits DeeplyWicked (4ply, 100% Superwash
merino, 400m/100g) in Stings Glow.
4mm (US G) hook.
Tapestry Needle
Tension
22st and 10 rows in tr to 10cm/4in using 4mm hook or size needed to obtain tension.

Basic stitches, working into chain spaces.
Construction
Worked from centre top out using triangular expansion.
