Selkie Cowl - Simple Crochet Cowl Pattern
I am an unashamed fan of ripples (Joanne tells me that this is the only thing she doesn’t like about
me!). This cowl pairs the unassuming ripple stitch with raised trebles to create a gorgeous
textured fabric. There are instructions for both straightening the top and bottom edges of the
cowl, or leave them jagged for a wavy look.
Circumference: 48 in/122 cm
Depth: 7 in / 18 cm
2 115g skeins Fyberspates Vivacious DK (100% Merino Superwash Wool 230m/251yds) in Peacock
1.5 repeats and 12 rows in ripple pattern (see special stitches) only to 10 cm/4 in using 6 mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension)
Raised (post) stitches, working in rounds, decreasing, increasing.
The cowl is worked in the amigurimi style with no joining or raising of rows.
