Your Mileage May Vary Shawl

Sale price$5.99

The name comes from the edge trim, which is a variation on a vintage pattern called “A mile a minute.” When I found the trim in a vintage book I thought it meant that it worked up very quickly until Kat told me that it's the name of a weed similar to bindweed. It's still a very quick trim and pattern to work – but maybe not quite breaking land speed records! It’s also a slight reference to the fact that short-row crescents are about the hardest to calculate the yardage for when you are designing them.

Lovely edging

This is a lovely one-skein shawl that crocheted up very quickly. The edging looks as if it might be tricky but it really isn't - and it looks so pretty. Thanks for another great pattern!

Beautiful pattern!

I made this shawl as a gift for my grandmother, and she absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed working the pattern up - the edging was surprisingly simple and addictive to make, and the body of the shawl flew off my hook! I’ll definitely be making another.
